Extend Your Holiday
Does one week in Italy feel too short? Why not arrive in Florence or Rome a few days before your Flavours week begins? That way you can have a city-break on top of your Flavours villa escape – it’s two holidays rolled into one!
Add a pre-holiday trip to Florence
So how would it work? Let’s say you’re booked in for a week learning to cook at our villa in Tuscany You could fly over a few days early and have a city break in Florence before the cooking week begins. We will book you into our favourite hotel right in the UNESCO protected Old Town (the rooftop breakfast terrace looks straight across the terracotta rooftops to Florence’s iconic cathedral dome). Your Flavours host will meet you here to arrange a guided walking tour, and give you their tips on where to eat, drink and shop. We will then arrange collection from your hotel to meet your Flavours group.
Add a pre or post trip to Rome
Have you always longed to see Rome? Then come early and spend a couple of days there, instead. Staying right in the ancient heart of the Eternal City at our favourite hotel close to the beautiful Campo de’ Fiori and Piazza Navona, you will be met by your Flavours host, shown around the city, then transferred at the end of your city break to the start of your Flavours holiday.
Two activity vacation
Or how about two Flavours vacations back-to-back? You could start with a week in Tuscany learning to cook or paint, then go straight on to Sicily for a week learning Italian or Pilates or photography. Not only would you get a deeper, more varied feel for Italy, but thanks to the emotional and psychological benefits that learning holidays bring you would go home doubly enriched in both body and mind – with lots of new, like minded friends.
Ultimate Italy
And of course, for the ultimate Italian holiday, you could combine two Flavours holidays back-to-back – with a pre and post vacation stay in Florence and Rome. Talk about making the most of your holiday.
