Cooking Holiday in Umbria - Itinerary
Day 1 -
Benvenuti! Welcome to Umbria! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, meet your chef and host and enjoy welcome drinks. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.
Day 2 -
After breakfast, you will have your first cookery lesson with your chef, enjoying the results for lunch. You are free in the afternoon to relax by the pool, or take a wander around the grounds of the villa. Dinner is prepared for you this evening at the villa.
Day 3 -
After breakfast, we will visit Orvieto, a remarkable town renowned for its stunning medieval architecture, rich history, and its dramatic position atop a flat volcanic plateau. Lunch will be at a local Trattoria. Return to the villa in the afternoon, where dinner will be prepared for you by your chef.
Day 4 -
After breakfast, you will have your second cookery lesson this morning before enjoying your own dishes for lunch. In the afternoon, visit a local winery for a private wine tasting and return to the villa, where your chef will prepare dinner.
Day 5 -
After breakfast, you will head out to Bolsena for a boat trip and lunch. Then later in the afternoon, you will be in the kitchen with your chef preparing dinner at the villa.
Day 6 -
This morning is your fourth cookery lesson, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Pitigliano, Sorano, and Sovana, three charming towns known for their historical significance, stunning architecture, and unique landscapes. Dinner will be in one of our favourite family-owned restaurants in this area.
Day 7 -
This morning you’ll have your final cookery lesson, followed by lunch. Your afternoon is free to relax in the stunning grounds of the villa. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow guests.
Day 8 -
After breakfast, you’ll have some time to pack before our driver takes you on our group transfer back to Perugia Airport for your flight home. Arrivederci!
