Villa Accommodation
Our Andalusian base is the beautiful Il Palacete villa, set deep in dramatic hilly countryside, yet only 30 minutes’ drive from the coast. It’s private and peaceful, with spacious gardens, a pool and tennis court. This picturesque mini palace, full of charming historic details, dates back to the 1400s.
Spanish Cooking Holiday in Andalusia - Itinerary
Day 1 -
Bienvenido! Welcome to Andalusia! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, meet your host and chef and enjoy welcome drinks. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or explore the grounds around the villa. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.
Day 2 -
After breakfast, you will have your first cookery lesson with your chef, enjoying the results for lunch. You are free in the afternoon to relax by the pool, or take a wander around the grounds of the villa. Dinner is prepared for you this evening at the villa.
Day 3 -
Today, we will head to Granada city centre, the Moorish Jewel, with time in the morning to explore the gardens of the Alhambra with a guided tour. We’ll stop for lunch at our favourite local restaurant, and spend some time this afternoon exploring the city’s shops and charming narrow streets filled with flowers. Late afternoon, return to the villa for dinner, prepared by your chef.
Day 4 -
This morning, we will head out to Almunecar to explore its morning fish market. Lunch will be at the villa. This afternoon, enjoy a lesson preparing your find from the fish market, sampling the results for dinner.
Day 5 -
After breakfast, enjoy another hands-on cookery lesson and lunch at the villa. This afternoon is free to relax by the pool or walk through the grounds surrounding the villa. Dinner tonight is prepared by your chef.
Day 6 -
After breakfast, you will be in the kitchen for another cooking lesson with your chef and enjoy the results for lunch. This afternoon we will then head out to a local winery to sample some the region’s finest wine on a private tour. Dinner this evening is at our favourite local restaurant in Otivar.
Day 7 -
Following breakfast, you will have your final cookery lesson then lunch. Enjoy your last afternoon relaxing at the villa and in the evening, a special farewell dinner prepared by your chef.
Day 8 -
After breakfast, the group transfer will collect you and take you back to Malaga airport for your flight home. Adios!
