Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Morocco!
Welcome to Morocco! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, meet your chef and host and enjoy welcome drinks. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.
Day 2 - Explore the Medina with a local guide
We will hit the ground running and after breakfast we will head into Marrakech for a walking tour through the Medina, sampling some local delicacies and visiting the spice markets as we make our way to lunch at one of our favourite roof terrace venues. We will return to the villa late afternoon. Dinner will be at the villa.
Day 3 - Day at a cook school in Marrakech
After breakfast you will head back into Marrakech for a day at a cook school learning to make tagine, and delicious moroccan salads. We will enjoy the fruits of our labours for lunch. Dinner will be served at the villa this evening.
Day 4 - Day out in Essauria, on the coast
A very full day today. We are heading to the coast and to the fishing village of Essaouria. We will explore the town before visiting the local winery, where we will sample wines and have lunch. We will return to the villa late afternoon. Dinner at the Villa.
Day 5 - Relaxing day at villa, with optional massage
After all the travelling of yesterday, today is a day to relax and a chance to indulge yourself with a Moroccan Hammam and or massage (extra cost). Lunch will be served at the villa today whilst this evening we will head back into Marrakech for dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 6 - Cooking class focussing on Moroccan breads and pastries
After breakfast we will head back into Marrakech and a visit to the cook school at Café Clock. We will be learning to make Moroccan pastries before heading back to the villa in the afternoon. Dinner this evening will be at the villa.
Day 7 - Trip to the Majorelle Gardens
After breakfast we will have an optional trip back into Marrakech with the opportunity to visit the famous Majorelle Gardens or do more shopping. Lunch will be at the villa. Late afternoon we are heading into the dessert for our farewell dinner. For the more adventurous amongst you there will be a chance for you to ride a camel into the camp before dinner ( additional charge )
Day 8 - Farewell, until next time
After breakfast, the group transfer will collect you and take you back to Marrakech airport for your flight home.
