This exclusive Amici-only week will be hosted by our Flavours chef Scott, who will be sharing his experience and knowledge of Moroccan cuisine.

Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 -

Welcome to Morocco! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, and meet your local Moroccan team as well as the Flavours chef Scott, and host, Frank. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.

Day 2 -

Today we will head out to Marrakech to explore the Medina with a local guide and discover Moroccan cuisine and culture – from the street food scene to centuries-old traditions. We will start with a wander through the market, where you can see the pastry for pastilla being prepared and shop the market stalls for local produce. Stop for a street food breakfast, sampling classic Moroccan treats before visiting a local bread oven for more delicious samples! Take a tea break in the spice square, made with blends grown in the nearby Ourika Valley. Lunch will be in our favourite restaurant, L’mida. As well as lunch will also get the chance to meet the team behind the restaurant with the chance to find out more about the vibrant Marrakech food scene. ! We will return to the villa in the afternoon to relax before dinner prepared by your chef.

Day 3 -

After breakfast, you will spend the day at cook school in central Marrakech where you will go to the local market to shop for all your ingredients and then with your local cook learn all the secrets of how to make the best tagine. Return to the villa and over drinks this evening Scott will host a Q&A session about Moroccan cuisine.

Day 4 -

Today we have a full day out Essaouria, on the coast, with time to explore the markets, sampling local foods. We will be visiting a winery for a wine tour and lunch. Travel back to Marrakech for dinner at the villa.

Day 5 -

Today is a relaxing day at the villa, with the option to book a massage or traditional hammam. Late afternoon we head back to Marrakech to have dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, specialising in local cuisine from an impressive all-women-run kitchen, Sahbi Sahbi. It is one of the best restaurants in Marrakech.

Day 6 -

Head back into Marrakech for a cooking class focussing on Moroccan breads and pastries.

Day 7 -

Morning to relax, visit the Majorelle gardens, or shop in the souks. In the afternoon we head off to the Agafay desert and have an amazing dinner under the stars with a Moroccan fire show.
