Food festivals are a must in our annual foodie calendar, offering a chance to discover local producers, see top chefs in action and, of course, tuck into some fantastic food. We’ve rounded up some of the best UK food festivals to look forward to in 2024, with plenty of details on what you can expect from each one. Some of the dates for 2024 have yet to be announced, but keep an eye on this post – we’ll update it with new details as soon as we find out more.
Big Feastival
What: Taking place on an idyllic farm in The Cotswolds, Big Feastival is a foodie getaway like no other. With a line-up that includes Michelin-starred chefs, first-class music acts, epic street food and a huge array of family activities, there’s so much to look forward to at this action-packed festival. Tickets for 2024 are available now, and you can either book a weekend pass, or go the whole hog and make it a camping trip with fellow foodie friends.

Foodies Festival
What: Foodies Festival brings together food, drink, music and entertainment for a weekend of foodie fun! Expect a line-up of exceptional chef talent, from Michelin-starred professionals to MasterChef champions, as well as music from the likes of Scouting for Girls and Sophie Ellis-Bexter. Watch a cooking demonstration at the chef’s theatre, enjoy a drink at one of its pop-up bars, and keep kids entertained with a cooking class. There’s also a feasting tent where you can tuck into plenty of delicious grub.

The Great British Food Festival
What: This touring food festival travels all over Great Britain to bring you an unrivalled selection of music, chef demos, artisan produce and street food. Keep your eye out for extra bookable activities, like foraging walks and kids’ cookery classes.

Pub in the Park
What: Popular chef and TV personality Tom Kerridge started Pub in the Park food festival in celebration of the great British boozer, and you’ll always find a huge line-up of hot chef names in attendance, from TV favourites to Michelin heroes. Expect to feast on some of the best gastropub grub in the country, discover speciality ingredients from its Artisan Food Market, tune into chef demos, and listen to award-winning music acts.

Abergavenny Food Festival
What: Join the fun at the Abergavenny Food Festival on the Welsh Borders which highlights regional producers, farmers, and chefs with a host of demonstrations, talks, and family entertainment. Previous guests include the likes of Andi Oliver and Angela Hartnett, while tickets are usually pretty affordable.
The Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival
What: This family-friendly food festival attracts a host of big names every year, from James Martin to the Hairy Bikers, with over 30,000 people flocking to the Yorkshire Dales to experience its stellar line-up of entertainment. Camp, glamp, or simply visit for the day. Whichever you choose, there’s a chance to get involved with classes, workshops, talks, activities and more. Dogs are admitted for free, but remember to book them an extra ticket!
