Learn Italian in Tuscany
Buongiorno! For centuries, Tuscany has attracted people from all over the world to marvel at its art, culture, and stunning landscapes. Tuscany’s charming towns, sweeping countryside, and gastronomic delights have made it a firm favourite with Flavours guests. And, as the birthplace of Italian, what could be a more inspiring place for your language holiday?
Enjoy trips to explore nearby towns, like Arezzo or San Gimignano with its unique medieval towers, where you can soak up the atmosphere with some sightseeing or shopping at the local markets. What’s more, with meals in authentic trattorias and the chance to enjoy a private wine tasting in a local winery – there are endless opportunities to try out the Italian you have learned!
I loved holidaying with a small group of people who share the same enthusiasm for learning Italian.

Learn Italian in Tuscany- Itinerary
Day 1 - Our group transfer will pick you up from Pisa Airport
Benvenuti! Welcome to Tuscany! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, meet your teacher and chef and enjoy welcome drinks. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.
Day 2 - Your first Italian language lesson
After breakfast, you will have a chat with your Italian tutor to gauge your level of Italian. Your group will be split into beginner and intermediate Italian speakers. You will then have your first Italian lesson, followed by lunch at the villa. In the afternoon, you’re free to relax by the pool or wander around the grounds before your second Italian lesson and an Aperitivo Chat session. Dinner tonight is prepared for you at the villa.
Day 3 - Visit to Volterra
After breakfast, you will have another language lesson with your teacher. After lunch at the villa, you will spend the afternoon exploring Volterra, one of Tuscany’s best-preserved historical towns. Built on a hilltop and encompassing Etruscan walls dating back to the 4th Century BC, it is filled with fine examples of Etruscan, Roman, and Renaissance architecture and also has a beautiful garden (Parco Archeologico Enrico Fiumi) to explore. Enjoy the afternoon sight-seeing, practising your language skills, or shopping at leisure. Afterward, you will enjoy dinner in a local trattoria.
Day 4 - Language lesson with an afternoon practising your language skills
After breakfast, you will have another Italian lesson before lunch. In the afternoon you can practise your language skills by chatting with your chef or relaxing by the pool. Dinner tonight will be prepared for you at the villa.
Day 5 - Visit to a local market
After breakfast, you will head to a local market selling a great range of fresh local products. There is no better way to discover the essence of a region than by living how Italians do! After you have had a chance to browse the stalls we will return to the villa for lunch. Dinner will be prepared by your chef.
Day 6 - Day trip to a local town
After breakfast, we will make our way to a nearby hilltop town buried deep in a countryside rich with vines and olive groves. You will have plenty of opportunities to talk with the locals before having an Italian-style Aperitivo before heading back to the villa.
Day 7 - Make the most of your last day of learning Italian followed by a special farewell dinner.
This morning, you will have your last lesson with your Italian tutor followed by lunch. This afternoon you’ll have some time to relax or maybe go for a walk in the area surrounding the villa. Gather for one final Aperitivo Chat session before a special farewell dinner prepared by your chef.
After breakfast you will have some time to pack before our transfer will take you back to Pisa Airport for your fight home. Arrivederci!
